A GREAT PLACE  TO GROW

Tots Into Scholars welcomes those of diverse faiths, ethnic origins, and race. We believe that diversity also includes the different physical, cognitive, and social abilities that one possesses. We strive to create a developmentally appropriate classroom environment that not only reflects each child’s unique abilities, but also encompasses their home culture and experiences as well. One of the most important things that we can do to teach our children about diversity is through role modeling that all people are treated with equity, kindness and respect.

Our Philosophy

● Tots into Scholars values early childhood education as the foundation for lifelong learning.

● Verbal skills are encouraged through group discussions and through one-on-one conversations between the teacher and the child and among other children.

● That children must receive high quality care from adults who are caring and whose values enable them to be excellent role models.

● That children's play is important to a healthy physical development, social skills, and cognitive growth. Children learn through play!

● That teachers must create an appropriate educational environment which carefully guides children from one developmental level to the next.

● That parents contribute to, and enhance the quality of care that is offered at Tots into Scholars Learning Center.

● That children should experience their learning milestones through developmentally appropriate activities, leading to an increased sense of competence and independence.
